Hill House was the new school she had to attend after switching from Northlands. Then she attended Queen's Gate School in which she was a ballet student and took part in school-based plays. At the age of 16, she dropped out of school to make a career of acting. The dream of Taylor-Joy to become a professional actress was born at an early age.
