Ana Paula Oliveira born May 26 1978 Campinas Sao Paulo Brazil. She has acted on screen in Woman on Top (2000), Sem Fio (2009) and A Indomada (1997). Ana Paula Oliveira has been an integral part of the Global Initiative Against Transnational Organized Crime since the month of March in 2020. she is an analyst currently and a team leader of GI-TOC collaboration with multilateral partners. Research conducted by the GITOC concentrates on the assassination of people, disappearances and other forms of violence within the context of illicit economy. Her interests in research also focus on the effects of organized crime on human rights and humanitarian rights, as well as the impact of legislation and policies. Ana Paula earned an LL.M. with distinction with distinction International Law at the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies of Geneva. Fundacao Getulio Vargas has awarded her an LL.M. Cum laude for Public Law. Ana Paula is a graduate of the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro with a magnacum laude degree in Legal Science and Social Sciences. She has been a practicing attorney for over four years in a firm focused on civil litigation that involves public law. Other experiences include assisting roles at non-governmental organizations with their headquarters in Rio de Janeiro and Geneva.
