Allison Pregler Bio
Allison Pregler is a reviewer who takes on Z-grade movies typically within the martial arts or horror genre, which is roughly comparable that of The Cinema Snob but tending toward action films that are dumb and boring, as well as some morbid pleasure from them. Her first review was in 2009 and gained some respect from the forums of Channel Awesome under the old username Obscurus lupa. In 2010 she joined the Channel Awesome Family. The site was up and running until the early days of 2015 when Obscurus Lupa Presents retooled into Movie Nights. Two of her podcasts are co-hosted and also covers Charmed. After a controversial departure from Channel Awesome Allison officially announced on January 20th 2015 that she'd be revamping OLP into an impromptu review show called Movie Nights with an appropriately-shlocky elevator jazz theme. The videos are available here and here. Her Twitter account, Tumblr page and Facebook account also have videos. Allison can't be enough for you? You can see her kicking ass in the role of Interpol Ninja Cheetah Lee in Ninja the Mission Force. Brad Jones' Jesus Bro! She appeared as well. Guest-starring in Midnight Screenings is a regular occasion. The program reviews grotesque films aimed at children, RiffTrax and live shows. There are also times when it features adult humor. She started reviewing films in late 2009, gaining popularity through the Channel Awesome forums before officially joining the reviewers of the channel's family. She's appeared on a variety of Channel Awesome series, from Atop the Fourth Wall through Phelous & the Movies. Doug Walker and Doug Walker were once members of Channel Awesome. They would often appear on episodes of Nostalgia Critic.
