Jessie J
Jessica Ellen Cornish (also known as Jessie J) is an English performer and musician. Jessie's unconventional style of music that blends soul music as well as electropop, pop and hip-hop, has earned her notoriety from a young age. She has received awards like the 2011 Critics' Choice Brit Award as well as BBC's Sound of 2011 as well numerous nominations. She began her career when she was just 11 when she was cast for the musical "Whistle Down the Wind' by English composer Andrew Lloyd Webber. After that, she was a part of the National Youth Music Theater and appeared in their 2002 show, 'The Late Sleepers'. In 2011, she gained a lot of attention after the release of her debut studio album 'Who You Are'. The album was an overwhelming achievement, selling ten thousand copies in the UK as well as 3,4000 copies within the US in the first week of its publication. Jessie's album also made it to 2nd place on the Album Charts in the UK and was ranked eleventh in the US Billboard 200.
